REFEREE S.C. has over a decade of experience doing all the work that is needed to provide your games with USSF certified referees.
Every game requires countless hours of recruitment, training, development, assigning, coaching, report editing, invoicing and strategies for retention so that referees may perform to the best of their ability and return to refereeing your club’s games to further develop their skills.
USSF Certified referees
NorCal and CalNorth both require clubs to use ONLY currently certified USSF Referees for all matches. Leagues may charge fees several hundred dollars per offense.
This can be very difficult to monitor as referees are required to maintain their certification annually and update requirements throughout the year.
The assignr.com platform allows both the referee and the assignor to easily verify and be notified of a referees current status throughout the assigning process. Assignr.com notifies both the referee and the assignor when a registration has become inactive and why. Assignr.com is linked with US Soccer Learning Center and Assignr cleverly provides the information at several levels during the assigning process.
USSF FIRST TIME REFEREE COURSES
Clubs should host a USSF First Time Referee course at least once a year. We recommend holding courses annually, either in February prior to the Spring season. New referees can then referee throughout the year. And/or mid-July/August so referees can referee the remainder of the year but also be certified for the entire following year.
REFEREE S.C.’s staff is uniquely positioned to support your club and community with providing First-Time Referee Courses.
Part of our REFEREE S.C. staff is also the CNRA First Time Referee Course Manager.
Our two lead assignors are also Certified USSF Referee Coaches. They will be assigned as the instructor(s) for the First Time Referee Course’s required 3-hour field session. Our experience as Referee Coaches will ensure that your community’s new referees have the best chance for early enjoyment and success as they begin to develop their craft as a referee.
Referee, Assignor, and Staff PAYments
Clubs will easily establish an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) account within assignr.com allowing a club’s financial administrator to authorize payments to officials and assignors directly within the site. It all works directly with Assignr.com’s financial module, so all users; club, referee and assignors always know exactly who got paid and when. Clubs may also use this same account to fund staff.
No more stuffing of envelopes, or manually entering payment information into another system. Clubs can easily fund their invoices sent by REFEREE S.C. in a matter of minutes. Clubs may run several types of reports to manage their overall operations.
CLUB BOARD MEETING ATTENDANCE
REFEREE S.C. staff and/or your Lead Assignor is willing to attend any Club Board Meetings, Staff Meetings, or Coach Staff Meetings or Trainings. Just provide us with the dates and times and we will have your Lead Assignor and/or REFEREE S.C. representative to attend and if requested present on any referee or laws of the game presentations.
REFEREE S.C. believes in keeping an open dialogue with the club’s administrators, staff, coaches and players/parents whenever possible.

Easily handle any necessary 1099’s
If you club dreads the work involved in preparing 1099s for all the officials that provided services for your club, Assignr.com has you covered at no additional costs. Assignr.com automatically records all referee’s W9 information to receive payments. Club financial administrators simply need to click a button to process 1099s and access these records within Assignr.com if they need. At the end of the year, Assignr.com allows referees to generate a printed or electronic 1099 for their records whenever they require one.
Assignr.com can help you manage this process from start to finish. The 1099 service includes an electronic or printed 1099 for any official that needs it, as well as e-file of the 1099-NEC form with the IRS.
